Simply put, not enough money. Let’s be realistic. If I had a net windfall of $1,000,000 and I do everything that needs to be done – I will spend $500,000 in my investment account, and $250,000 for my 2 Bedroom House. This will leave me about $250,000 for everything else including appliances, new furniture, and new items. I will also need to make arrangements for paying rent in my current residence while waiting for the house to be renovated. I will also want my Ideal Phone Setup all of which costs money.
About the only person I could see me giving anything to might be offering to buy her an automobile of up to $5,000 which will be a significant purchase, but worth the effort, and I am sure she would appreciate that. Even so, this will only be after I taken care of everything else. I will be cutting it thin with just $1,000,000 and as you can see, things can burn through pretty quickly. I will only have $3,750 per month as a reliable source of income, so saving for a significant purchase is easier than what I have now, but will still take planning, effort and work.
