My current account is my checking account that I will use to pay my bills. I will do the same practice that I do now. I will use the credit card to pay for whatever needs to be paid, and I will pay my credit card in full every month. The checking account will have some taxes that would come out to move to the Money Market account, but everything else is for my needs and wants. And yes, I will have checks available to me, but in reality, I rarely use checks beyond paying the rent which I will not have to do anymore.
In addition, since I use my credit card to cover for my expenses, I would only need my debit card to pull cash out, and no more. The only thing I know about my debit card is it uses the Discover Network which that is all I know. If my bank sends me a new debit card, I will activate and put it away until I need cash. Since my carry credit card is more than what I will get in a month, I can use it for when I go over slightly, and can make multiple payments o the credit card meaning that I will have less discretionary spending.
